Cookie Jam Blast Review - Review by Rob Rich A Regular Candy Land. I'm usually a staunch defender of the virtues of mobile gaming but my goodness are all these cookie-cutter (no pun intended) match-3 games making that difficult!
Move over, Candy Crush.
An upstate New York woman is being touted for her peanut butter cookie recipe on Cookie Jam Blast. The free-to-play, match-3 puzzle mobile game, downloaded more than 100 million times, takes participants through the adventures of Chef Panda’s quest to become the best pâtissier in the world as they earn ingredients and level up their Chef Rank.
Starting weekly on Nov. 29 and extending through the end of the year, the favorite cookie recipe of a Cookie Jam Blast 'super fan,' will be showcased in the game as a puzzle piece, part of what the company is calling the 'Season of Cookies.'
The promotion also ties in nicely with National Cookie Day which is Dec. 4.

CHRISTMAS TREES: Where to cut your own
And the winner is ...
Buffalo stay-at-home mom Cindy Dutton is the first featured home baker and highlights a beloved recipe she began making in her youth when she and her grandmother would bake together wearing matching aprons.
Dutton recalls dipping her finger in the peanut butter as a child (grandma didn't seem to mind!) and the enticing aroma that filled the kitchen. She said it wasn't until she reached adulthood, that she understood her grandparents didn't have a lot of money and so it makes sense that her grandmother chose baking as an activity they could do together.
'For her to make that special time for me means a lot and now that she's gone, I try to do that with my daughter,' said Dutton.
Along with baking, which she still does often, Dutton fell in love with mobile games because of the social aspect. She said she particularly loves Cookie Jam Blast for the variety of levels, styles and challenges it presents. Never in her wildest dreams, however, did she imagine a beloved family recipe would end up in a game.
Said Dutton: 'Having this recipe shared in the game is an honor because it reminds me of my grandmother and, in retrospect, she will always be part of the game for me.'
